Appointed as Service Manager in February 2010, Jon is a lifelong sailor with a diverse background. He served in the British Army for almost 15 years and has had a career as a professional yachtsman for almost as long. He brings tens of thousands of miles of experience to the team as well as a solid understanding of boat maintenance and construction. His career to date includes the build and subsequent refits of the 140' Frers designed Rebecca, the major refit and new decks of Sumurun and several other extended yard maintenance periods. His professionalism and eye for detail, coupled with his enthusiasm for both boats, people and a job well done make him an asset to both the yard and boat owners alike. |

Steve became part of the Wayfarer crew in 1998. He began his career in 1971, and his experience has ranged from the ultra-traditional such as working on the Captain's Gig for the USS Constitution, to high end modern - working with composite boats, masts, mono and multi-hulls. For several years, Steve owned and operated his own boat building business. His hands on expertise combined with his professional focus ensures that your yacht is in capable hands. Steve has managed many of the major refits performed in the yard with tremendous success. His passion for the business and for providing world class service makes Wayfarer the clear choice for your next refit or repair. |

Ben joined Wayfarer in 2002. He is a graduate of the Maine Maritime Academy with a degree in Marina Management. During his time with us he has demonstrated huge enthusiasm for boats and all things boating. Ben now holds the position of Dockmaster as well as representing Wayfarer in the sales and marketing field. His depth of boating knowledge and exceptional boat handling skills, in addition to his outgoing personality, make him a natural 'go to guy' for visiting boaters. |
